This page explains what ScarPath collects, why, and the choices you have. Effective January 1, 2026.
Your voice belongs to you
Voice conversations remain private. We do not sell, license, or use them to train external AI models.
Encryption in transit and at rest
All conversations and reflections are encrypted using industry-standard TLS in transit and AES-256 at rest.
You own your journal
Every reflection in My Words is yours. You can export or delete it at any time from Settings.
AI used for personal reflection only
Reflection Intelligence™ processes your reflections to help you see patterns. It does not share or repurpose your content.
We never sell personal reflections
Not to advertisers. Not to insurers. Not to data brokers. Ever.
What we collect
Account information (name, email), voice recordings you choose to save, transcripts derived from those recordings, and product usage signals to improve ScarPath. We do not collect location beyond region-level analytics.
How we use it
To provide Reflection Intelligence™ — surfacing patterns, updating your Scar Map, generating weekly reports, and personalizing your Growth Path. To secure your account and prevent abuse. To send you the emails you asked for.
Who processes your data
A small set of enterprise-grade subprocessors handle hosting, voice synthesis, and analytics. Each is bound by confidentiality and data protection agreements. Contact privacy@scarpath.com for the current list.
Your rights
Export, correct, or delete your data at any time from Settings. Reach us at privacy@scarpath.com for any request we can't fulfill in-app.
Children
ScarPath is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
